My sister-in-law has always been fascinated by manatees. I know it's strange, with us being smack dab in the middle of the country we don't see many manatees around these parts.
Several years ago she started the tradition of going to Florida in the winter to swim with them when they come in from the ocean to gather near the warm springs of Crystal River. When my oldest son was 10 she took him with her. This year it's son #2's turn.
